Bye Bye Corporate Life!

In January 2018 I quit my job, leaving behind a six-year corporate sales career. It was a big, scary leap.

I knew I had too much creativity, energy and ambition to keep working towards someone else's dream. It was time to build a career that lit me up inside. That's when I found copywriting and Choice Words by Chantelle was born.

These days I spend my time working with awesome business owners on copywriting, award entries and sales strategies. Business owners who are passionate, authentic and inclusive. Business owners who want to create a fantastic life for themselves, make mad cash, and ALSO serve others.

Back Story

My parents run pubs in beautiful, rural Berkshire. That is where I grew up, a true pub baby. Not much has changed on that front: I can often be found in a cosy corner of my local with a glass of wine.

I graduated Exeter University in 2011 with a degree in English Literature and went on to work for BII, Nestle & Ferrero in various corporate sales roles.

As well as running my business, I'm a director of my Dad's pub consultancy business. We have been proud to win a number of awards along the way, and this started my journey into the world of business awards and copywriting.

I have a cat, Poppy, whom I adore, and live by the seaside with my partner Jon, who I am also pretty fond of.
