Human beings avoid confusion... 😕 So MAKE IT CLEAR.
The simple fact is, people won't move ahead with anything important, an investment, a purchase, a subscription or an enrolment, if they feel confused about what they're buying into.
Partly, because they want to protect their resources, obviously.
But there's something else at play too, if you look closely...
People don't want to feel like they've been duped! 🙈
People want to feel smart, informed and like they're making smart choices. And you can help them with that.
This one may sound obvious, but it's an important point to make when we're thinking about the copy on our website, in our emails and even on our social media.
People want to feel like they've 'done their research' or their 'due diligence' before they commit. Understandable, right?
Absolutely! And the great thing is, with just a few small tweaks we can help our prospective clients to do that due diligence piece FASTER in order to get the money into our bank accounts faster too...
All it takes is a short paragraph on your website or sales page that explains:
💛 You understand the challenges your ideal client is facing as well the transformation they are hoping to achieve.
💛 You've helped other people to overcome similar challenges, with exceptional results.
💛 Why their emotional or external resistance ISN'T a realistic objection.
💛 You have a plan for how you're going to help THEM achieve the same thing.
💛 How their life will be different as a result of working with you or buying your product or service.
This information alone could well be enough to make a client feel they have considered their options and done a bit of digging.
So, if you don't have this information on your website yet, it might be time for a rewrite!
